An exemplar of the book “Goethe zum Vergnügen” (“Goethe for pleasure”) was present during a experience in which a subject, who didn’t have a good knowledge of German, had to wait in a car-parking in Köln, Germany, for more than two hours because she couldn’t start her car. This book was her only distraction.
During the lecture, phonecalls to car insurance companies, friends and relatives are pronounced in between the reading of excerpts of the book “Goethe zum Vergnügen”.
